Secret Whatsapp Features You Should Know

Written By Micah on Friday, August 5, 2016 | 6:18 PM

Once a small startup, Whatsapp has significantly grown into the most popular social messaging app with around 1 million active users. Though you may use it daily, you might not know the cool and secret features.

Use Classic Typewriter Font

In order to change the font of your messages, use ` symbol 3 times on both sides of word. For instance, “` Hello “`. You can create this symbol with Android keyboard but it is not available on iOS keyboard. If you have an iOS device, just copy and paste “` symbol and use it on both sides of word.

Broadcast the Same Message to Several Recipients

In the top left corner of “Chats” screen, there is a feature known as “Broadcast Lists”. This way, you can send one message to several contacts without letting them know. It is much like “Bcc” button. Instead of using Facebook to invite people to the event, or asking several people if they like to play football without having to setup group chat. All you need to visit Chats – Broadcast Lists – New List and add your contacts and draft your personal message and send it to all. Their reply and the message will be shown in private chat with each user. But it will have a small megaphone icon with it. Your contacts will never know that the message was sent to everyone.

Find Out Who is Closest to You

In order to figure out who your best friends are on Whatsapp, go to Settings – Account – Storage Usage on iOS device. Here you will find a list of groups and people you text on Whatsapp apart from overall interactions you’ve had with the person. If you choose “Size” at the bottom of screen, you can find out who spent the most data on using Whatsapp.

Bold, ItalicsStrikethrough

You can easily format the text in messages on Whatsapp. You have to add symbols on either side of words. If you want any word to be bold, add asterisks on both sides of sentence or word, for example, *bold*. To write any word or sentence in Italics, use underscores, e.g. _italics_. To strikethrough your message, add tildes, i.e. ~strikethrough~. You can add several symbols on either side of words to use multiple formats, e.g. _*bolditalics*_.

Check Whatsapp Data Usage and Cut Down

In order to check out how much data Whatsapp is using, just visit Settings – Data Usage – Network Usage. In Data Usage, the amount of data used by Whatsapp can be controlled when you disable the option to auto-download audio, images, documents and video when you connect your phone to Wi-Fi.  To reduce data usage for Whatsapp calls, you can choose Low Data Usage mode.

Control What Private Info to be seen by Unknown Users

If you have been added to group chat with unknown people or your Tinder conversation is moved to Whatsapp but you don’t know where it’s going, you can control what info such users may know about you. Just go to Settings – Account – Privacy and then change Profile Photo, Last Seen and Status to Contacts. This way, only your contacts can see your picture in your contacts list.

Share Documents

You can share documents from your cloud storage accounts like iCloud Drive and Google Drive in Whatsapp Chat. Go to upwards arrow to the left side of text window and then go to Share Document and choose where to share your document from, such as iCloud Drive and Google Drive.

Read Message without Letting them Know

If you want to take time to respond to a message without letting other person see the blue ticks, this secret may help you. You can read their message without letting them know. Once you get the message, instead of opening it, dismiss notifications on home screen and turn Airplane mode on. It will block mobile data and Wi-Fi and keep any new message from coming.  Read the full message. Close the app and turn Airplane mode off. Despite reading the message, it won’t display blue tick to the sender. You can also turn off read receipts totally. You have to head to Settings – Account – Privacy and turn off Read Receipts. You can also share latest Whatsapp status to look cool.

Written By Micah on Saturday, August 22, 2015 | 2:57 PM

Are you obsessed with photos? You probably have installed Instagram on your Android phone or iPhone.
This photo sharing application has more than 300 million people who use it on a monthly basis. However, just like many other apps, there are lots of hidden features that only those who are more than the common user of the app will know.
Well, there is nothing to worry about if you are one of these ‘common’ users as we have rounded up the top 5 amazing Instagram tips you need to know. Using these tips, you will be sure of making your photos become a standout among others as well as reap you some outstanding compliments.
One image, different perspectives
If you thought Instagram was all about one image and one shape, then you are in for a shock. There are third party apps that can be used to make some amazing changes to the shape of photos and make them look almost different, or still, place several photos in a single gram. These apps can also let you add frames as well as put music to videos.
Android and iOS users can make use of apps such as PhotoShake!, PicFrame and Diptic. Photo Grid for Android is also another option.
Give your photos the Lux aspect
Underexposed Photos will for sure, look very dull and poor. What do you do? Make them Lux. After capturing your snaps, locate the sun symbol and tap on it. Using the slider that shows up, adjusts the saturation of the snap and you will see a totally different photo.
Toy around with photos
Instagram for Android and iOS is equipped with quite a number of tools. If you have ever wondered how photos of the whole earth come to look like a very tiny object, there is room for you to try it on this photo sharing app. You can use the tilt shift feature to make some amazing changes to a photo.
Just find an image and choose a filter. Follow it by tapping on the wrench icon located at the lower end of the photo and then slide right to reveal the “Tilt Shift” feature. From here, you can choose linear or radial, depending on your taste and finally, select the checkmark in order to save changes.
Accessing Instagram on the web
Instagram is not just a mobile application meant for use on iOS and Android devices. If you feel like using your PC, there is still room for visiting Instagram.com and once you sign in, you will be able to access your feed, comment and like photos, as well as carry out various searches. However, this Web version will not let you add or edit photos on your account.
Creating video clips
Instagram made an attempt to topple the services of Vine by coming up with a video feature for its users. Using it is very easy. You can easily create 15-second video clips by sliding the tab from the camera to video recording icon and then hold down the red button to begin recording a video clip. When done, tap on “Next” and then choose whether to apply a filter or not. Proceed by selecting “Next” where you will be able to pick a frame for the cover shot. Your video clip is now ready for sharing.

WhatsApp Free Download – Hidden Tips and Tricks for Group Messaging

Written By Micah on Thursday, May 28, 2015 | 8:18 PM

WhatsApp is one of the applications that you might consider installing on your smartphone. The application has become quite popular and now there are 800 million active users who log into their accounts, to chat with their contacts every day. There are a lot of secrets that the WhatsApp Group messaging feature comes with and today we’re going to tell you about a few of them.
WhatsApp Group Tips and Tricks
Deleting your message
Sometimes, you are in a rush and you might send a voice, video or image in a group chat where you are not the admin. Well, unfortunately, you are not able to do anything, as the message will be sent to all the group members in the next second. This means that you will need to ask an admin to remove the voice clip, video clip, image or message that you’ve sent.
Deleting a WhatsApp Group
If you are the admin of a WhatsApp Group and you decide to delete the existing group, then these are the steps that you will need to take. Usually, when you are an admin in a WhatsApp Group, if you select “Delete and Exit”, the WhatsApp Group will not be deleted and it will just randomly select a new member from the group and give him/her admin rights.
To completely delete a WhatsApp Group, you will need to remove all the members from the group (one by one). When all the members are removed, you will be able to select “Delete and Exit Group” and the Group will be completely deleted.
WhatsApp Group Chat – who read your message?
In case you didn’t know, you are now able to see who has read your message. You will get information about all the users who checked your message and the time when they read it.
To see all this information, you will need to tap on the WhatsApp Group Message you’ve sent and select “Info”. After that, you will see all the people who’ve read your message. In addition, you will also see who has received the message, but didn’t read it yet.
Delete media from WhatsApp Group
If there are a lot of members in your WhatsApp Group, then you will most likely get a lot of spam messages such as voice clips, video clips or images. In case you notice a voice clip, video clip or image that should not be in your WhatsApp Group, just tap and hold on it and delete it.
You can also go to the Group Info section and select “Clear Conversation”. This will delete all the voice clips, video clips and images from the chat.

Find Out Who Blocks You on Facebook

Written By Micah on Monday, May 25, 2015 | 8:48 PM

While it is possible to get blocked on Facebook, there are, unfortunately, no easy ways of finding out if you have been blocked or not. Nevertheless, there are indirect methods you can use to determine whether someone has blocked you from Facebook rather than stewing in curiosity. Here are ways to find out if someone blocked you on Facebook.
Finding If You Have Been Blocked Through A Friends Search
In most cases, the person who blocks you on Facebook is someone you were friends with previously. You should search for the person on the friend’s list using their name.
If you cannot find the person’s name in the results, it is possible you have been blocked. It could also be that they have deactivated their account or changed their name and profile picture.
Finding Out By Reporting a Conversation
This method is good for people you were previously friends with you on Facebook and you had conversations with them. The method involves the use of the Facebook tool used to report spam and abuse from users.
You should open a conversation you had with the person, and click on the “Actions” button, then select the “Report Spam or Abuse” option. The next step involves three options, and you should select the third alternative : “Report conversation participant(s)…”.
In the next step, anyone who has blocked you will have the word “Blocked” next to their name, while those who have inactive accounts will simply have the word “Report” next to their names. This is obviously an extreme method, but it can help settle doubts you might have on whether or not you have been blocked on Facebook.
Other Methods Of Finding Out Whether You Have Been Blocked
The methods above are great if you do not want anyone else to know whether you are concerned that someone has blocked you on Facebook. If you are up to it, you can also use direct methods. For instance, for someone you were previously quite close, you can contact them and find out if they have blocked you for some reason or another.
Another method would be to contact mutual friends and see if they can view the person’s profile on Facebook. If they can and you can’t, then it is a clear indication that you have been blocked. However, if they also cannot see the person’s profile, it is an indication that the Facebook account is no longer active.
Conclusion
If you suspect that you have been blocked on Facebook, you can always take steps to confirm your suspicions. Typically, the person’s profile becoming inaccessible through your profile is a red flag, although it could be the result of that person deleting their account. Direct ways of finding out if you have been blocked include asking known mutual friends if they can access the person’s Facebook profile.
If you would prefer not to draw as much interest to yourself, you could always report a conversation as spam or abuse, and Facebook will tell you outrightly if that a person has blocked you or just deleted their profile.

Twitter Tips and Tricks – Becoming an Instant Hit on Twitter

Written By Micah on Monday, May 18, 2015 | 10:38 PM

One very simple thing to become is a Twitter pest.
This is a person who explodes out tweets that have nothing to do with their profiles, constantly begs people to follow them in their tweets and or messages, as well as that who keeps spamming the same links.
When it comes to Twitter, be the best, not a pest. The worst thing to be doing on Twitter is begging people, for instance, to follow you, liking a re-tweet or even liking a follow, since these make you look like having limited brain or mental capacity on top of looking desperate. Someone may think begging people to follow you on twitter will or may get you suspended.
How to get more Twitter followers
Well, it may not. But the bad news is that it labels you as a ‘pest’ among the other twitter users. This actually results in some people having to stop following you on Twitter. To be a winner on Twitter, you simply follow people you think or feel might be interested in you and your thoughts hoping that they will do the same for you – follow you back – for the vital thing on Twitter is not getting immediate followers; rather, more people will naturally follow you over time as other people start to know and follow you.
When you post relevant tweets on Twitter regularly, people will naturally start following you. You have to keep them interested in your posts before they start thinking that you are a pest. If your profile is related to new car models, your followers might grumble if you start making posts about high heel shoes or something else not related to new car models.
The only way to become this is to maintain the skill of coming up with unique content in each and every tweet. Proper usage of the services provided by Google Alerts, Hellotxt.com and Twitterfeed.com helps keep your name clean and distanced from the pest tag. If you don’t have many different pages to post, there are various URL shortening tools that can be used to change the links of these pages. These tools enable you to make numerous and different links that automatically point to the same page.
At this point, you should be having some concrete knowledge regarding the major things that are to be considered when it comes to becoming the best on Twitter and not a pest. In addition, by now you know some of the tools that have been developed to aid in the creation of status updates and posting them.
Bottom line
With these tools, hopefully, you can become one of the best on Twitter and realize the constant success this app can bring to your business or brand; otherwise, people on Twitter will label you a Twitter pest and once you get this label, it is almost impossible to get rid of it. In addition, if more than enough people report you to Twitter due to your ‘pest’ behavior, Twitter reserves the rights to suspend your account.
All in all, you should use the best twitter tools presented to you to avoid becoming a Twitter pest and become a Twitter best.

Facebook Messenger Footsteps – Will WhatsApp Video Calling be Free?

Written By Micah on Thursday, May 14, 2015 | 9:42 AM

Facebook Messenger recently introduced free video calling services after previous users could only use the app for making free voice calls.
This addition took place just a few weeks after another of Facebook’s in-house and actually the most popular instant messaging app,WhatsApp, rolled out its hugely anticipated voice calling feature.
Following the addition of a new WhatsApp voice calling feature, a new question has arisen and this concerns whether this instant messaging app will add a video calling feature to its platform. At the moment, Facebook Messenger users on both iOS and Android devices can enjoy making free video calls to each other. With just one tap, you can start a video conversation when in a chat. To do this, tap on the video icon located at the upper right corner of your screen.
Facebook Messenger seems to be competing with WhatsApp
Facebook Messenger has over 600 million users from all over the world. On the other hand, WhatsApp has a massive 800+ people using it on a monthly basis. When Facebook acquired WhatsApp, the company promised that there won’t be any changes that affect the identity of the app. However, things have recently taken turns and twists as we’ve witnessed the introduction of a WhatsApp Web PC client which users of this app use to chat from PCs. While initial developers of WhatsApp had no PC availability in mind, Facebook’s takeover changed this philosophy, thanks to the $19 billion they shelled out to acquire the app.
The current buzz is WhatsApp voice calling, which has gained huge popularity among Android users to be precise. However, this is true because the feature has been on Android longer than any other OS it is now working on, for instance iOS and BlackBerry 10. This feature has been available on Messenger for quite some time and now that it is on WhatsApp, Facebook has rolled out a newer feature on Messenger, which is the video calling ability.
Following the launch of the video calling services on Facebook Messenger, it is expected that this company will again roll out the same feature but this time for those on WhatsApp, which is one of their top-ranked assets. At the moment, Facebook Messenger video calls are available in limited countries in North America, Europe and Africa. However, the company revealed that this feature will continue to expand to other regions in the coming months.
WhatsApp video calling will be free
Soon after the video calling feature is fully availed to all users of Messenger, WhatsApp will start getting the feature. This will be welcomedby the millions of people who use this app on a daily basis. Just like Messenger video calls are free, you will also be able to make free WhatsApp video calls. The only thing you need is a stable internet connection, which is the same requirement for making free video calls on any other applications that include Skype and Viber.
Remember that WhatsApp is only free to download, install and use for the first one year. After that, all users must pay one dollar for using the app, but this charge is only levied once per year. This shouldn’t be a problem considering the services this app offers.
Facebook Messenger to introduce Businesses feature
After introducing video calling services on Facebook Messenger, Mark Zuckerberg and Co are now working on a new feature known as Businesses on Messenger. This new addition is expected to cater to the interactions and communications of businesses and their customers. According to the company, this feature will enhance business-customer relationships by allowing ordinary users the chance to interact with businesses which in turn helps facilitate customer support and after sales services.
The feature will present users with notifications on the company’s order confirmations, shipping status updates and other important information. Furthermore, users will be able to edit the order by modifying it, or even track or return it. The Business on Messenger feature will present ordinary users with an opportunity to ask businesses questions and get quick responses as well as make special requests.
Keep following us and we will keep you updated with the latest news regarding the upcoming WhatsApp video calling and Business on Messenger features.

Read WhatsApp Messages on Your Desktop

Written By Micah on Sunday, May 10, 2015 | 10:35 AM

Thanks to updates to the app, it is now possible for you to read your WhatsApp messages directly on your desktop and this in itself is quite an advance in technology. This is something that a lot of people are going to find very useful and the good news is that it does not involve a third party app,but instead it is something that WhatsApp themselves have brought to the table, so there is no need to worry about the installation or any other security issue.
How Does It Work?
So, how does this actually work? How is it possible to read messages from an actual app on your desktop? In all honesty it is easier than you think and it is due to the creation of WhatsApp Web and this is something that really works in tandem with Google Chrome. The important part here is that your WhatsApp is still managed and controlled by your phone, but it then uses data connections to allow you to view messages on your computer.
For it to work, you do need the latest version of their app and do be aware that people using iOS could run into problems with it working thanks to Apple. When you install the app, you will see an option for WhatsApp Web and you need to tap on this before moving onto the next step.
This next step is to go to the website https://web.whatsapp.com and you will see a QR code that you are going to be asked to scan with your smartphone. This will then sync the app, your phone, and your desktop allowing you to view your messages on your computer rather than having to physically move and pick up your phone all of the time.
Does It Work Well?
The short answer here is that yes it does work very well indeed and it is a rather cool idea by WhatsApp and you can see how it would be useful in a number of situations. The fact that they have launched it themselves is an added bonus, as we previous stated, as it means you can trust it at all times and everything will indeed work smoothly. How popular it is remains to be seen, but there has to be a number of people out of their 700 million users that would think that this is a wonderful idea.
So, you can check your messages on your desktop by:
  • Downloading and installing the latest version of the app.
  • Be aware that iOS will not support it directly.
  • You have to use Google Chrome to get it to work.
  • You need to go to a web page and scan a QR code to sync your phone with your computer.
  • WhatsApp themselves have created the web browsing option.
This is a cool feature brought to you by WhatsApp and it will certainly prove to be useful for a number of people who simply cannot be bothered to go and pick up their phone every single time they receive a message. It is a simple idea, but it is effective and the only downside is the issue it has with the iOS system, but then that is out of the hands of WhatsApp and the blame is firmly at the door of Apple.

WhatsApp Web – No Download Required for Using the PC Version

WhatsApp recently announced some mind boggling figures, stating that there are currently over 800 million active monthly users of this instant messaging and VoIP app.
This figure has been on a constant rise since the Facebook takeover. What this means is that of all the more than 1 billion downloads that WhatsApp has recorded in the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store, at least 90% of them are actively using this application. A few months ago, WhatsApp launched WhatsApp Web; an application that anyone who has a PC can use to access WhatsApp messages as well as respond to them.
Initially, most people who had managed to get this application on their desktop platforms did so using the BlueStacks emulator. This application helped them bring the Android environment to the desktop and in this way it was very easy to enjoy using WhatsApp and a host of other Google Play Store applications on a desktop.
WhatsApp Web has no installer package
As the name suggests, WhatsApp Web is a web application that comes without an installer package. In order to use or access this service, you must use a web browser. WhatsApp Web will leave you with all the conversation history, just like what you’ll get on your phone’s app. There is nothing that needs to be installed as far as WhatsApp Web is concerned. However, since the client uses a web browser, you need any of Google Chrome, Firefox or Opera browsers as these are the only compatible browsers.
WhatsApp Web is also limited to certain mobile operating systems that include Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, BlackBerry 10, Nokia S60 and Nokia S40. There is no room for iOS users when it comes to using WhatsApp Web.
How to setup WhatsApp Web
WhatsApp Web is a very intelligent application that takes you less than a few minutes to setup and get going. To start sending and receiving WhatsApp messages on your desktop, use the following steps:
  • On your Android phone, update the current WhatsApp to the latest version
  • Launch the app and tap on the menu to reveal the “WhatsApp Web” option.
  • Tap on “WhatsApp Web” to launch a QR code scanner.
  • Using your PC web browser, go to the page https://web.whatsapp.com. Remember only Chrome, Firefox or Opera can access this web page.
  • Using the OR code scanner than launched on your phone, scan the QR code that appears on the above web page. You will see a green circle if the code has expired. Click on “Click to reload QR code.”
Using WhatsApp Web
WhatsApp Web is not so different from WhatsApp apart from the fact that it appears on a PC while the latter works on a phone. This means that the window you get for WhatsApp Web is larger than WhatsApp.However, the interface is still the same, but only for the chat section of the phone app.
WhatsApp Web will not give you the same freedom as the phone app. Since this app is just a mirror of the phone app, it makes use of the phone app to relay the messages onto the PC. This means that the phone must always be on and connected to the internet in order to get the messages on WhatsApp Web. Furthermore, all your messages will be saved on the phone too. What essentially happens is that WhatsApp syncs with the web version in order to display the messages on a PC.
If you use WhatsApp Web on a shared PC, make sure you log out or else anyone can reload the page and see all the messages that are in your phone app, regardless of your location. To stay safe and secure you must always log out of the app either from the main WhatsApp Web or by using the phone app. Even though you can send and receive messages using WhatsApp Web, you cannot do a bunch of other things that include changing details of your profile, creating or leaving groups or even making WhatsApp voice calls.
Since WhatsApp Web is still young, there is still room for improvement and more features need to be added to the app. Whether WhatsApp and Facebook are up for the task is not the question as this app keeps rolling out update after update. Once WhatsApp voice calling feature is available for all users, the developers will embark on a video calling feature. However, there is no news of any updates regarding WhatsApp Web.
Keep following us for more updates on WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp video calling feature.

WhatsApp Free Remove The Timestamp – Pros and Cons

WhatsApp has pros and cons, because it’s not a perfect application, but at least the developers are trying to improve it, to add new features which would make the users appreciate WhatsApp even more. At this moment, there are millions of users who make voice calls for free, all over the world, thanks to the newly introduced voice calling feature, but there are also other features that are worth mentioning: the Last seen option, which allows your contacts to know when was the last time you were online. Well, this feature is useful for your friends, but it’s annoying for you, if you’re hiding from stalkers. So, what can you do to get rid of it?
The Last seen status is hated by most of the WhatsApp users because they can’t log into their accounts without letting their contacts know that. There are times when are not in the mood for chat, but we want to check our messages, without replying back. The senders will probably get mad if they’ll notice that you’ve read their messages, but you ignored them, and other contacts will be frustrated because you were online, but you didn’t say “hi” to them.
If you hate the Timestamp feature, there is a solution to get rid of it. On Android devices, you will have the option to disable the Las seen status from Settings. The problem is that you need to install newer versions of WhatsApp, otherwise you will be stuck with this feature, because you will not be allowed to make any changes.
The first step is to open the application, go to Settings and tap on the Menu button from the upper right corner, then tap on Settings>Account> Privacy and change the Last seen settings, by setting who can see the timestamp. There are three options you can choose from: “Everyone”, “My contacts” or “Nobody”. So, if you are hiding from everyone, then, obviously, the third option should be selected. If you choose “My Contacts”, only your friends from the contact list will know when you were last time online.
If you block a contact, he/she won’t know when you are accessing your account.

How to Extend WhatsApp Validity (Expiry Date) for Free?

Written By Micah on Friday, May 8, 2015 | 11:05 PM

There is no surprise in saying that WhatsApp is now the #1 mobile messaging applications on the market despite the Operating system. The main reason for its increasing popularity in India is the limit that is imposed by the TRAI on the number of SMS messages being sent per day. The Indian mobile users won't be able to send more than 200 text messages per day (per SIM) and this limitation made the youngsters search for an alternative way to send SMS to their buddies. Their search ended at WhatsApp, thanks to the wonderful features like text messaging, picture messaging, audio/video messaging and even voice calls.

However, not many know that the WhatsApp is free just for the 1st year and you'll need to pay a minimal fee of $0.99 or Rs.60 every year for the renewal. It is a very small amount and I request all to pay for the WhatsApp license and support the developer. The trick I've mentioned below is only for those who can't pay for the extended license.

Method 1: Trick to Extend WhatsApp License for Free
This is the most recommended method to extend the expiry date of WhatsApp for free.
  1. From your Smartphone, open the WhatsApp.
  2. Go to Settings > Account.
    1. Select 'Delete my Account'.
Note that it will delete all your message history and so it is advised to take a backup of your WhatsApp by copying the entire 'WhatsApp' folder using any 'File Explorer' app. Knowhow to recover deleted files from WhatsApp.
  3. In the next step, you should enter your mobile number in the text field for confirmation and press 'Delete my Account'.
  4. Once the account was deleted, open the WhatsApp again and create a new account with the same mobile number.
  5. Next, go to Settings > Account > Payment info. There you'll find that your WhatsApp expiry date has been extended for another year.
By following this 'account deletion' method, you'll be able to use WhatsApp for another year. You can also 'uninstall' and 'reinstall' WhatsApp to extend your license. However, since, the motto of both the methods is the same i.e., removing your history and registering you as a new user, you can follow the 'account deletion' method to make the process simpler.

Method 2: Extend WhatsApp Expiry Date for Free

For some unknown reasons, a few people have failed to extend their WhatsApp expiry date using the above method. If you're one among them, then you can try this method and easily upgrade your WhatsApp license.

P.S: For this trick. You'll need a second mobile number which was not used before for creating the WhatsApp account.
  1. Open WhatsApp on your mobile device.
  2. Go to Settings > Account > Change Number.
  3. Click 'Next' to continue.
  4. Now, you'll find two text fields where you'll need to enter the old mobile number in the first field and a new number in the second field. However, ensure that this new number is not registered with WhatsApp before.
  5. Click 'Done'.
  6. Now, repeat the steps 1 to 5 but this time, enter the new mobile number in the first field and the old one in the second field (in step 4).
  7. Click 'Done'.
That's it! Your WhatsApp validity is now extended for another year for free. You can check the same by going to Settings > Account > Payment info.

P.S: If you’re an active user of WhatsApp, then I request you to purchase the license to support the developer for running costs.

WhatsApp Video Calling to be Launched this Month – Latest Rumor Mill

WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger seem to be very close competitors and this seems set to go on for the rest of this year.
Just recently, Facebook Messenger made way for the new video calling feature that allows users of Messenger to have a one to one conversation over the internet for free.
On the other hand, WhatsApp recently rolled out a voice calling feature, something that Messenger users had already been enjoying for quite some time. WhatsApp and Messenger are both owned and managed by the same company – Facebook. While it might sound strange to term these two as close competitors, it is true to put them together considering the fact that they offer almost identical services as far as internet communication is concerned.
WhatsApp video calling feature available, but only for company employees
According to the latest word on the street, there is already a working WhatsApp video calling feature in place. However, this feature has been made available to a limited group of users, mainly those closely associated with the company. Essentially, the video calling feature has been availed to this group of employees as a precaution since rolling out a raw feature to the public can be a bit problematic.
What this means is that WhatsApp video calling feature is in beta testing phase and very soon, this app may see the feature roll out to the public. Furthermore, the new WhatsApp version will let users mute their calls or even put them on hold.
WhatsApp video calling feature to come in this May
According to media researchers, WhatsApp video calling feature might be released before the end of this month. However, not all users will be able to access the feature since it seems the company will follow the same path it followed when rolling out the update for WhatsApp voice calls. As a result, Android users will benefit first from this update since they were the first in line to get to the voice calling update.
