The error ‘sorry you cannot access the Google Store app on your device’ is quite common. This error could be followed by a message which indicates that you cannot access the app with that email address. Most of the time, this could occur when trying to use your computer to download an app from Google Play Store. It could also occur when Google Play has crashed and therefore cannot load data from your account.
Sign in with your Gmail account
If you have a new device, before you can shop for any items on Google Play, you need to have a Google Account. Additionally, if you would like to shop for Apps from your computer, you need to link your Google Account on the PC with that of your Android device. To do this, sign in to the Google Play Store application on the Android device then try downloading any app.
Sign in with a different account
If you have an account on Google Play Store but still denies access to the app, it could be due to a faulty email address. To solve this, try accessing the account with another email account. Make sure that the email you use is Gmail, this is because Google services primarily use and accept Gmail accounts.
Once you have signed in to the Play Store app, try downloading an application from Play Store. If you had linked your device with your Google Account on PC, you can now download apps to your device using your PC.
Clear app’s data
Play Store can sometimes remain inaccessible due to an older data that is somewhat outdated. The data on your account could also get lost. This error will occur after signing in to the Google Play Store app and it refuses to download an application. To solve this, open your device’s settings, select apps then application manager then Google Play Store. Click an option that says Clear data. This should clear all data on Play Store, this will allow you to access the application again. It gets rid of all the errors that made the app inaccessible.
Activate Download Manager and background data
Play Store will remain inaccessible if the Download manager is disabled and if background data on Google play Store app is disabled. To activate the application go to your list of applications at settings then click on the app. Activate the download manager if it was deactivated. To change the background data settings, go to settings then ‘data plan.’ Here you will find a list of all apps and the amount of data used. Enable background data on Google Play Store so that you can access the application conveniently. If all these fails you may need to perform a factory reset.
If you cannot access, Google Play services, it means that you will not be able to download or access applications from the Play Store. This could even become more difficult when you will like to update an application. You will not be able to update any application unless it is done manually. By following the above trouble-shooting procedures, you will access the Google Play Store application and install apps from Play Store.
