Although Android and iOS are two totally different operating systems made for entirely diverse devices, yet there are many developers making life easy by bringing up possibilities to synchronize both of them together.
Recently a developer from Middle East came up with his app of using his Moto 360 Smartwatch with his iPhone which was later turned down by App Store even after the Beta version was approved; as said by developer on his Twitter account but the developer has showed some real improvements and open doors to new interventions and ideas by revealing his abilities to control music and even answering calls coming up on his iPhone from his Moto 360 Smartwatch. Similar activity cannot be done on Android Wear as it does not have a built-in speaker to answer calls, specifically.
Rumor has it that Google is about to officially announce apps that will support Android Wear with iPhone. A developer has been faster than Google, as he has introduced a tweak called Android Wear Utility for jailbroken iPhones to work in conjunction with Android Wear.
Since it is a tweak and not by any official developers’ team, therefore its functionality is highly limited and yes it does not support your entire Android Wear with iPhone. But it is a good option for those who cannot wait till Google made its official announcement. If you want it too, you need to have a jail-broken iPhone and download the Android Wear Utility tweak right from Cydia. You also need to have an accompanying app installed on your Android Wear that is available on Play Store by name “andriod_wear_for_ios”
Initially to setup Android Wear you need to get it done on an Android phone and install the required APK from Play Store. Once you got both of them, you need to run them together so Bluetooth can do its magic. If you managed to make the successful connection you will see a confirmation animation on your Android Wear. Push the crown on your Android Wear and you will be directed to the home screen to run the fun.
So far the Android Wear Utility will not let you do everything off your iPhone from your Android Wear but still you can play your favourite music and receive notifications on your Watch once you are connected with iPhone.
