With the release of iOS 8.3 many additional features and advancements were bombarded on iPhone users which became widely accepted and admired throughout the world. Many of these features were focused on but many of them were sidelined and are barely into the users’ knowledge.
One of the main features that come with iOS 8.3 was a major development in App Store and that was users’ were enabled to download free apps without entering any password. This setting is at first comes hidden, but with a little bit of guidelines you can learn how to enable it.
The iOS 8.3 beta took too much time in nesting up and providing a feature that could be activated to download free apps without asking for any verification. Although a tap on the TouchID is mandatory before downloading any apps to avoid kids or someone else to fill your phone with undesired clutter.
Without any more delay, let us guide you how you can use these Password Settings in your favor. You need to have a running iOS 8.3 on your iPhone first, and then follow these steps:
Step 1: From home screen go to Settings and then open TouchID & Passcodes.
Step 2: Here you will find an option labeled iTunes & App Store. It will supposedly be showing turned ON. You need to turn it off.
Step 3: Now every time you are in Settings, go to iTunes & App Store page and you will see Password Settings right under your Apple ID.
Step 4: Right under Purchase & In-App Purchase, activate any one from the available two options. You can also toggle your free downloads option if you desire so.
Off course it will not make sense to you entering password or using TouchID every time you try downloading something but if you are an extreme downloader, then these settings will save you some time. Furthermore, you do not have to worry about downloading paid apps without any intimation as these settings are useful only if you are downloading free apps.
